Child and Teen Services
Beyond school, Sonoma Valley youth have many additional opportunities to learn, grow, and nurture their special talents under adult supervision.
The Boys & Girls Club Valley of the Moon, for example, a 22,600-squaree-foot facility in Maxwell Farms Regional Park, offers educational, leadership, and recreational programs for children ages six to 18. The El Nido Teen Center provides a safe haven for young adults. The school-based Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance provides adult support to children in need. The Sonoma Community Center sponsors and co-sponsors many creative-arts classes and events for children and teens. For budding performers, youth theater troupes stage Shakespeare, Broadway musicals, and other shows.
