County Assistance – Affected areas other than the Lower Russian River:

For those affected by the flood who reside in areas other than the Lower Russian River, assistance will be provided by the agencies at their normal locations. For information regarding services please contact the following:

Dumpsters: Dumpsters will be provided for flood clean-up purposes. For locations of dumpsters call the Emergency Services Public Information Hotline at 565-3856. Roadside pick-up of flood debris and refuse will be provided in the affected areas of the lower Russian River beginning on Tuesday morning and continuing through the weekend. Regular disposal fees will not be waived for refuse delivered directly to county disposal sites.

Hazardous Materials: Household toxics should be taken to the Central Disposal Site, 500 Mecham Rd. in Petaluma. The toxics facility will be open Thursday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. for no charge to county residents. For more information call 565-1152. Mon.-Fri. 8-5.
